Actress Cheryl Hines is about to take on a brand-new role but she’s having just a bit of trouble getting into character. Her stepson, Bobby Kennedy III, and his wife, Amaryllis Fox, are due to have a baby girl in January, yet “I don’t know that I want to be called Grandma,” Cheryl, 53, exclusively admitted to Closer Weekly with a laugh. “It’s a really fun time, but I have to come up with a different name. Maybe CeCe. Luckily I still have a couple of months to figure it out!”

Cheryl, who is a spokesperson for the Painfully Awkward Conversations Campaign (which addresses painful sex and menopause issues) is fully ready, though, to embrace the joys the baby will bring her and husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 64.

“I have a feeling we’re going to have long weekends of babysitting,” gushed Cheryl, whose daughter, Catherine, is 14. “And I’m looking forward to not having to be the parent and teach lessons like ‘Tell the truth.’ Instead, ‘Lie! Have fun!’ I can’t wait.”

The actress is equally as excited to direct the upcoming feature film Revenge Wedding and to dive back into playing Larry David’s ex-wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm. “We’re about to start shooting our 10th season, but really we’ve all been together for 17 years or something,” she said of her on-screen family, which makes her real-life husband ecstatic. “Robert watches Curb too much,” she revealed to Closer in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now. “He binge-watches when I’m not around!”

Cheryl and Robert have been married since 2014 and she credits their successful union to their thriving careers. “It’s nice because we both understand — I hate to use the word fame, but just being a recognizable person,” Cheryl previously said in another interview with Closer. “If one person is recognizable and the other isn’t, it can be a tough balance, but it’s nice that we’re recognized for different things.”
