Such a fit First Lady!
"When I was at the White House, I often hosted bootcamp weekends for my close girlfriends. It didn’t matter that we were all at varying fitness levels. Our bootcamp weekends were a reminder that if we want to keep taking care of others, we need to take care of ourselves first," the 53-year-old captioned the pics of herself flaunting her super toned bod.
"And even though I’m no longer at the White House, I've continued this tradition and wanted to share some photos," Michelle continued. "My girlfriends have been there for me through all kinds of life transitions over the years — including a pretty big one recently! — and we’ve done our best to stay healthy together."
"Whether it’s a bootcamp or a walk around the neighborhood, I hope you and your crew can find some time this summer to be healthy together," the mom-of-two added.
Needless to say, many of Michelle's 14.6 million Instagram followers were very impressed by her exercise snapshots. "Thank you for being such an inspiration!" one fan wrote with another adding, "You go, girl!"
Interestingly, this isn't the first time Michelle has shared a glimpse at her fitness regime. In May 2015, the former FLOTUS released a YouTube video of herself jumping rope, doing crunches, kickboxing, and lifting weights while working out with her trainer.
The 35-second clip was released to promote Michelle's #GimmeFive campaign, which celebrated the five-year anniversary of her "Let's Move" public health initiative to combat childhood obesity and instill the importance of a healthy lifestyle for kids.
One thing is for sure — Michelle looks more in shape than ever and we're totally jealous!
