Dodging fiery explosions. Running (in heels!) to get the bad guys. The Jaclyn Smith that America first fell in love with — she played Kelly Garrett on the hit series Charlie's Angels from 1976 to 1981 — was a fearless TV heroine of the highest order.

"Instead of bringing me down, it made me say, 'Hey, every moment is special,'" the 67-year-old Texas-born stunner tells Closer. "I sort of blew through the whole thing."

"There's a camaraderie among those of us who've been through this — I can sit down and talk to a stranger like she was my friend for life," she says. "It's sort of this club."
