Oh boy!

Zoe Saldana and her husband Marco Perego welcomed their third child together! The Guardians of the Galaxy star, who was not previously pregnant, took to Instagram to announce the exciting surprise and share the first photo of her new baby boy.

“Marco and I are elated to share the news of the birth of our son Zen. We couldn’t feel more blessed with the new addition to our family,” the 38-year-old wrote in the caption. “#ThreeBoys…oh boy!”

In their adorable photo announcement, little Zen laid on his tummy on a blanket while his big brothers — two-year-old twins Cy Aridio Perego-Saldana and Bowie Ezio Perego-Saldana — played on the mat next to him.

Fans congratulated Zoe and her hubby in the comments, but many expressed their confusion because Zoe was not previously pregnant before welcoming her third child. Some fans suggested that the couple adopted little Zen, others wondered if he was born via a surrogate — and a few wondered if she actually was pregnant and just hid it well. The Avatar actress chose not to clarify how she welcomed her new little bundle of joy, but she was spotted leaving Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Monday, Feb. 13 with Marco and Zen, according to Us Weekly.

Zoe is known for living a private life, but shortly after giving birth to Cy and Bowie in November 2014, she did open up about her experience after becoming a first-time mother. She explained how she dealt with society’s unrealistic expectations for women to immediately “bounce back” to their pre-baby bodies.

“You have to remind yourself that everything takes time. I feel bad for those women who are desperate and want to bounce back three months after having a baby,” Zoe told Us Weekly at the time. “I definitely took a break and trusted that my body was going to bounce back when it was ready. I never wanted to push myself.”
