Queen Elizabeth and Meghan Markle’s Mother Doria Ragland Have ‘Developed a Special Bond’

They’re getting so close! Queen Elizabeth and Meghan Markle‘s mom, Doria Ragland, have become quite the pair lately.

“The Queen loves hearing Doria’s stories about her life in LA and the two of them have developed a special bond,” a source exclusively tells Closer Weekly. “When she saw the yoga studio she jokingly asked Doria to give her a lesson!” The 62-year-old has been staying with Prince Harry and her daughter, 37, at Frogmore Cottage — the same place the Duchess of Sussex recently gave the head monarch a tour of.

“Harry and Meghan haven’t been short of royal visitors since moving into Frogmore,” a royal insider recently exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. “Meghan is so proud of her new home and invited the Queen over for afternoon tea so that she could give her a personal tour. The Queen loved seeing how the couple have transformed the house and made it their own and is really impressed with the renovations.”

It’s great to hear that family members are making time to get closer to one another — it also helps that Doria has been in London for a bit now waiting for the Suits alum to give birth … which could be any minute now!

“We’ll know in due course when the baby is born. Harry and Meghan made it very clear the birth is going to be private,” the 93-year-old’s former press secretary, Dickie Arbiter, recently told Today Extra. “There aren’t going to be any advance notices and they will release any details once they’ve had time to bond with the baby. The birth will come as they said, in late April, early May, and we just need to hold our horses until then.”

We are waiting patiently (sort of). Until then, we know that Doria and the Queen will continue to bond over tea and the latest in yoga (probably).
