Baby time! According to a friend of Prince Harry, the duke is planning to take a paternity leave after the birth of his first child, and it could be as soon as this coming week.

“He doesn’t need to take paternity leave because he doesn’t work in the way most people do, but he thinks it’s a very modern dad thing to do,” the pal of Meghan Markles husband, 34, said according to Sunday Express. It seems Harry will take the full two weeks off in order to support his wife, 37, he apparently told aides.

The outlet reveals that a Buckingham Palace aide said: “I’m sure Her Majesty will accommodate a break from duties.”

The royal pair has been preparing for the birth of their baby, but they have not revealed the gender yet, claiming they want to keep it a surprise. Although the Suits alum believes he or she is already a feminist, as she mentioned that recently while at a panel discussion at King’s College London in honor of International Women’s Day.

The duchess then proceeded to tell the audience that she saw a “documentary about feminism on Netflix and one of the things they said during pregnancy was, ‘I feel the embryonic kicking of feminism.'” She continued, “I loved that — boy or girl, whatever it is, we hope that’s the case.”

Meghan also shared her thoughts on boys and men being feminists. “I’ve said for a long time you can be feminine and a feminist, you can be masculine. And I think in terms of masculinity you understand that your strength includes knowing your vulnerabilities and your sense of self and security, and your confidence comes from knowing a woman by your side, not behind you, is actually something you should not be threatened about — as opposed you should feel really empowered in having that,” the former actress said.
