Proud Dad Prince William Reveals Son Prince George Is “Obsessed” With Police Officers
Little royal Prince George is destined to one day be the King of England, but according to his dad, Prince William, the four-year-old would love to be a police officer when he grows up. On Tuesday, March 13, William, 35, attended The Met Excellence Awards at London’s Kensington Palace where he chatted with public servants including Police Cadet Jayne Richardson.
While speaking to William, Richardson adorably told the dad-of-two that the Kensington and Chelsea police district is looking for more volunteers to join their force. “We are recruiting, actually so if Prince George and Princess Charlotte are keen?” she asked Kate Middleton‘s husband, according to People, to which William replied, “[George] is obsessed, actually, by the police… cars, toys, everything.” So cute!
This interestingly isn’t the first time William has opened up about George’s love of police officers. During a visit to Helsinki, Finland in late November 2017, the proud dad sweetly hand-delivered his son’s Christmas list to Santa Claus — and the only item on George’s wish list was a police car. In the past, William has also revealed that his little boy enjoys playing with Legos, “quite likes” watching The Lion King, and his favorite TV show is Fireman Sam. As for George’s younger sister, Charlotte, 2, she loves to play tennis, collect teddy bears, play with Disney princess toys, and is “obsessed” with her school’s art class. They’re just like normal kids!
