Prince Charles And Duchess Camilla Are Hiring — See How To Get The Job!

Not happy with your job? Well not to worry, because Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall want you to come work for them.

Charles, 70, and Camilla, 71, are in need of a new personal assistant, according to a job listing on their official site. Interested? Well you have to live near St James’s Palace in London, or at least be willing to move there as that is where the job will be located. This role, as listed in the ad, will have a few important duties that include arranging meetings, managing diaries, organizing and assisting with visits, events and travel and undertaking recces with senior members of staff. But that’s not all, the person who is hired will also have to write letters and emails, make phone calls and handle expenses.

And no surprise here, but Charles and Camilla are looking for someone with PA experience, as well as a “high level of professionalism and self-motivation, impeccable IT skills and a proactive and flexible approach.” And like a lot of jobs that you may apply for, this position is also looking for someone with strong organization and communication skills. But here is where things may be a tad different than what the usual job is. The ad makes sure to include that this new hire will have the “ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times” as that “is paramount.” Well then, that sure is enough to make someone feel important.
