What’s this?! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be severing their ties with Prince William and Kate Middleton — in a way, at least. According to Us Weekly, the royal couple will no longer be apart of the Royal Foundation charity they set up with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.

“The Royal Foundation is the primary philanthropic and charitable vehicle for [William] and [Kate] and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Our programs currently revolve around six main themes of work; mental health, wildlife conservation, young people and the armed forces community,” the company’s official website states.

However, since Meghan and Harry might be leaving the charity for good it would probably be up to William and Kate to pick up their slack. And, since she is already having a hard time balancing her family and work life, Kate won’t be too happy to hear about Meghan and Harry’s supposed decision to leave the Foundation.

“William and the children mean everything to Kate, so she’s determined to create a healthy balance between her personal life and her future role,” a source previously told Us Weekly about Kate being a monarch one day. “It’s taken a long time to get to where she is today, but she’s ready.”

Since Meghan and Harry moved out of Kensington Palace to live at Frogmore Cottage, they’ve seemed to have stricken a cord with their royal counterparts. The fact that they’re no longer neighbors with William and Kate might be the driving wedge between their friendship.

“There is no reason why their London home has to be at Kensington Palace,” a source previously shared to the Daily Mail before Harry and Meghan moved. “They don’t want to live next door to William and [Kate]. They will soon have separate offices and separate lives, so it would make sense for them to live further afield.”

We just hope Harry, Meghan, William and Kate can resolve their differences!
