What a guy! Even though Meghan Markle is on maternity leave and away from the public eye at the moment, her husband, Prince Harry, is still going above and beyond to make sure she knows she is on his mind — and that was made evident when the duke did something special for his wife at Queen Elizabeth‘s garden party.

The royal couple’s Instagram detailed the day spent at the party which took place at Buckingham Palace, revealing that Harry, 34, went out of his way to take care of numerous representatives from each of the Duchess of Sussex’s four patronages, whom she invited to the event before going on maternity leave. These organizations include Smart Works, the Mayhew, the National Theatre and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

According to the couple’s post, garden parties are “a means of recognizing guests for the good work they are doing in their communities, a tradition steeped in history and dating back to the 1860s during Queen Victoria’s reign.” Aside from the former actress’ patronages, Prince William‘s brother also “met with a representative of @africanparksnetwork (of which he is President), a mental health consultant for @weareinvictusgames and countless others who are leading by example with high impact cause driven work.”

It is fantastic to see Harry doing all he can to grant Meghan’s wishes while she is taking it easy, although the Suits alum, 37, is expected to make her next public appearance at Trooping the Colour on June 8. As for Harry, there’s a reason why he did not take paternity leave after the birth of his first child, Archie.

In the U.K., new dads are allowed to take up to two weeks of leave, but since royal fathers don’t usually have traditional jobs and working hours, they opt to not take the full time off, and instead return to work. For example, the Duke of Cambridge, 36, did not take a couple of weeks off after the birth of any of this three children. However, William was employed by the East Anglian Air Ambulance as a search and rescue pilot after Prince George arrived, but he still resumed his royal duties.

We can’t wait to see what Harry does next for Meghan!
