It seems not everyone in Meghan Markle's family is happy that their invitations for her upcoming wedding got lost in the mail! During her latest Twitter rant, Meghan's estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant, gave everyone a piece of her mind about the guest list for the nuptials.
She went off about claims that Meghan's not inviting members of their estranged extended family to the May 19 event. But, that's not all! Samantha also claimed they're 15th cousins with Harry… "And it’s not only Meg who is 15th cousin to Harry. My brother and I are also. I was the first born Markle to my father. Exclude the Markles] from this wedding would be highly inappropriate," she tweeted on Wednesday, April 11, according to Fox News. "At issue is not a matter of closeness as more than 1000 complete strangers are invited. Family is family. I have an uncle I have only seen once but I would never say he is not family because we are not close. Humanitarians move forward with love and kindness especially to Family."
Samantha continued, "Smoke and mirrors cannot hide the elephant in the room. Out of respect, tradition, and humanitarianism, the #Markles should be invited if 2000 complete strangers are invited. Our uncle who got her the internship, brother, me, best friend of 30 years Nikki Priddy, nephews. Fact."
It was previously reported that Meghan is "not planning" to invite Samantha to her wedding. And it seems Samantha likely didn't get her invitation if she's acting like this. "I can’t imagine how anyone would anticipate a normal, traditional, royal wedding. I mean they’d probably be watching across the lawn for the Markles to approach — 'Oh, good God, they’re coming! Close the curtains! Hide!'" she previously shared of the media frenzy it would be if she and Meghan's family showed up. "It’s just so silly. We’re so normal. And yes, I would love to go, but we have no idea what’s going to happen."
During an interview with Good Morning Britain in late March, Meghan's nephew, Tyler Dooley, and her ex-sister-in-law, Tracy Dooley (she was married to her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr.), revealed they are likely not invited to the wedding.

Fortunately for Meghan, unlike Samantha, they aren't too upset about it, which makes sense since Tracy hasn't spoken to her in 20 years and Tyler three years. "Chances are, I don’t think that we are going to get the invitations and that’s just fine. We’re OK with that. But we're supporting her on and just having a good time, so proud of her," Tracy shared. Tyler added, "We’ve been here from the very beginning. I mean, her whole life, just always rooting her on and supporting her." How sweet…
Two people that are likely invited, however, are Meghan's parents, mom Doria Ragland and dad Thomas Markle Sr. Meghan's father is allegedly "overjoyed" to attend Meghan's wedding. "Thomas Sr. is overjoyed to be beside his little girl on the day she becomes a princess — even if he has to battle his demons to get there," a source told The Sun. "He’s not exactly thrilled at facing the world’s glare. But nothing will stop him from having Meghan on his arm for the big day."
Tracy also insisted that Thomas Sr. will be attending (this will be his first time to England, and his first time meeting Harry). "I’ve heard that he’s going to be over there and I’m sure that he will be giving her away," she said. "The arrangements are being made… from me talking to him, he’s very excited to be a part of it." We can't wait to see who else from Meghan's family makes the final guest list!
