You go, girl!
In a recent interview, Kirstie revealed she avoids her three trigger foods — cookies, linguini, and cheese! — to stay in shape. “I’m much more disciplined [than I used to be],” the former Cheers star told People.
Kirstie previously rejoined Jenny Craig in April 2014 to get her weight loss back on track. “[I was] sick of it and I know that other people are sick of it, too,” she previously told Closer Weeklyof her past yo-yo dieting.

“I like to catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and say, ‘Wow, you still look cool.’ That wasn’t happening. I really didn’t look cool or sexy or anything — I thought I just looked fat,” Kirstie continued. “[Before], I would think, I’m going to lose this weight and then I can eat anything I want. I was setting myself up to fail.”
“I’m much more alive today. I’m more outgoing and can be more daring! I’ve been approaching people and telling them I want to work with them. I’m active, I’m in life again, I’m in motion!” she added.
As for her diet, Kirstie explained she now only eats one Jenny Craig meal per day and the rest of her meals and snacks are on her own! “But I also have my Jenny Craig consultant, so if I feel like I’m going awry, I just call her and she gives me some tips and a pep talk,” she told People.
“I can have anything I want [to eat], I’m just counting the calories. I know how many calories 6 oz. of tenderloin is. I know that pasta is 200 calories in a cup,” she said. “So as long as I keep steady that way, and count it up, it’s easy to count because I know how many calories those foods that I really love are.”
Kirstie has also upped her workout sessions in an effort to stay fit. “I started becoming a lot more physical. It depends on the weather and where I am but I have different workouts I’ll do. If I’m in Florida or Kansas where it’s flat, I’ll get on my bike and ride to my friends’ houses,” she said.
“If I’m in a place that’s cold, I don’t like gyms but I’ll go to dance classes. I also like yoga. I try to do that three times a week — pick one of those and do that,” Kirstie said.
One thing is for sure, Kirstie looks fabulous!
