Princess Charlotte is gearing up for her first trip to Scotland!

According to [People](http://www.people.com/people/package/article/0,,2039522220949626,00.html)_, Kate Middleton and Prince William will travel to Queen Elizabeth‘s Balmoral estate in the coming days with their two kids, Charlotte, 4 months, and Prince George, 2.

The royals are thought to be making the trip to commemorate the Queen’s record-breaking milestone as England’s longest-reigning monarch on Sept. 9. Kate, 33, William, also 33, and their children will likely join the Queen, 89, for a special dinner at her Scottish home that evening.

William’s father, Prince Charles, 66, and stepmother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 68, will not travel to Balmoral for the occasion, however, as they have previously scheduled royal appearances.

“The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have long- standing commitments on September 9th and there is very much a sense of business as usual on this day for all members of the royal family,” a Clarence House spokesperson told the magazine. No word yet on whether Prince Harry will make the special trip!
