What better way to keep in contact with someone than via text? According to a new Us Weekly report, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and Prince William are all a part of a “family text chain” that they like to use to keep each other updated on their lives.

A source previously told Life & Style that the text chain started when all of the young royals were once having Sunday brunch together. During their meal, they reportedly noticed how busy they all have become over the years and decided to do something about it. “Since everyone is so busy, they’ve set up a group text to make it easier to organize,” the insider said.

The group chat has proven to be very useful for Meghan and Kate, especially during recent reports of their alleged feud. “The family has had their ups and downs in the past, but as the saying goes, blood is thicker than water,” the insider shared. “Underneath the upper-crust exterior, they all love each other dearly, and there’s never a dull moment in their household!”

The young royals are also not the only royals that like to use texting as a way to stay in touch. In a previous interview with the Daily MirrorZara Tindall‘s husband, Mike Tindall, revealed that the younger members of the monarchy like to use social media as a way to keep in contact with one another.

“Me, my brother, and then a few of Zara’s side like her brother Pete and the cousins are on WhatsApp groups. I wouldn’t say we’re cutting edge, but it’s just easier for some reason on WhatsApp,” he said. Hopefully, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip follow Zara and Mike’s lead and create their own group chat. We can already imagine them sending each other tons of heart-eyed emojis to profess their love!
