Joanna Gaines Loves Flaunting Her Growing Belly: “There’s No Hiding This Baby Bump Anymore!”
She popped! Ever since Joanna Gaines announced she’s pregnant with baby No. 5, the Fixer Upper star can’t stop proudly showing off her baby bump — and in all the pics, she looks positively glowing. On Tuesday, April 3, the 39-year-old HGTV star wrote a new blog post to her fans about the finale episode of Fixer Upper, gave an update on her pregnancy, and shared a new photo of her baby belly. “For us, the end of this final season marks the beginning of a new one. If you would have told me that I’d end this season of the show pregnant with our fifth baby, I would’ve laughed,” Joanna began.
“Pregnancy has been so fun, in fact my two favorite things to do are take naps and eat! Since it’s been over eight years since I was pregnant with [our youngest daughter] Emmie Kay, I joke with my friends that it feels like it’s my first time being pregnant. The best thing about all of this is the excitement that my kids have shown for their new baby brother,” she wrote. “Since I had our first four babies so close to one another, none of them actually remember me being pregnant. They love my growing belly (and boy is it growing), and they cannot wait to meet him. I truly believe this baby is a gift from God for our family in this season.”
Earlier this spring, Joanna similarly took to Instagram give fans a glimpse of her growing belly. “What an amazing weekend with the @TimTebowFoundation. Thank you for giving hope and love to so many #TTFGolf2018,” she captioned a slideshow of pics of herself and her hubby, Chip Gaines, recently attending a charity golf weekend.
Not surprisingly, many of Joanna’s seven million Instagram followers couldn’t help but gush about her growing baby bump in the new pics! “Your little belly is so cute,” one person wrote with another similarly adding, “Your sweet little baby bumpie!” Last month, the mom-of-four also posted snapshots of her growing belly in a series of behind-the-scenes photoshoot pics on Instagram. “Photoshoot today and there’s no hiding this baby bump anymore,” she captioned a selfie. Later that day, Jo chronicled her fun photo op by sharing a few more pics of her bump via Instagram Stories.

On Monday, Feb. 19, Joanna also shared two more photos of her growing belly. In the Instagram pics, Jo looked gorgeous in an orange, floral dress at an event held at her and hubby Chip’s new Waco, TX restaurant, Magnolia Table. A few weeks earlier, Joanna — who is already a proud mama to kids Drake, 12, Ella Rose 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7, with Chip — was photographed publicly displaying her baby bump for the first time since she and Chip, 43, revealed they’re expecting.
The talented namesake photographer behind Grace-Marie Photography got the chance to take pictures of Chip and Joanna in their Texas hometown while they were filming outside Magnolia Table. Grace-Marie subsequently shared the images on her Instagram page — and the snapshots are beyond adorable. Although Joanna was wearing a loose-fitting sweatshirt at the time these pictures were taken, we definitely spotted her baby bump peeking out.
We also couldn’t get over how happy the couple looked together in the snapshots. It reminds us of the pure joy they must have felt when Joanna posted a video of her ultrasound on her Instagram page shortly after their pregnancy announcement. Now, we just can’t wait to find out the baby name Chip and Jo will use for their new bundle of joy!
The HGTV couple first revealed their pregnancy news with a fun Instagram photo in early January. The sweet snapshot showed Joanna’s tiny bump as she lovingly rubbed her hubby’s fake baby belly. “Gaines party of 7… (If you’re still confused… WE ARE PREGNANT),” Chip captioned the pic. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing even more baby bump photos from the Gaines family over the next few months — and, of course, photos of the little bundle of joy after he finally arrives.
