Renovating houses sounds like more than enough to keep your hands — and life — full, but Mina Starsiak Hawk doesn’t seem to have that problem. She balances her time between HGTV‘s Good Bones, which returns for season 4 on May 14, and the project that has fascinated classic TV fans ever since it was announced, A Very Brady Renovation

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Brady Bunch‘s debut, the network purchased the dwelling that served as the beloved sitcom’s exterior home. On the interior, they’ve put it through a complete renovation to have it match the show’s set. This despite the fact that what we saw of the Brady household was actually built on the Paramount Pictures sound stages.

Good Bones stars the mother-daughter team of Karen E. Laine and Mina, who are based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to the show, Karen was a defense attorney and Mina was a waitress — but everything changed after they decided to flip several houses, resulting in them opening a home rehab business called Two Chicks and a Hammer in 2008.

“[They] are setting out to revitalize their hometown of Indianapolis one property at a time. They’re buying up run down homes and transforming them into stunning urban remodels,” HGTV describes Good Bones. “With Mina’s real estate know-how and Karen’s no-nonsense legal background, these ladies are unstoppable in getting a property they want and enlisting their family’s help with demo and construction. When it comes to exciting new homes in the city of Indianapolis, it all comes down to the ladies of Good Bones.”

The four-episode reality series A Very Brady Renovation will see the HGTV crew interacting with the Brady “kids” (who, of course, are all in their 50s now): Barry Williams, Maureen McCormick, Christopher Knight, Eve Plumb, Mike Lookinland and Susan Oliver. No premiere date has been announced yet.

In our exclusive interview with Mina (video above), she discusses both shows, the experience of renovating homes and what it’s like to interact with the Brady cast (including her first accidental meeting with Maureen, which resulted in squeals of excitement on both parts).
