David Beckham’s Grooming Routine Includes Stealing Wife Victoria’s Beauty Products Because ‘She Has The Best’
Have you ever wondered why David Beckham‘s skin looks flawlessly perfect? Well, it’s probably because his morning routine includes him stealing his wife Victoria Beckham‘s beauty items. “My approach to grooming was always to steal my wife’s products,” the former soccer star admitted to Into the Gloss. “That was kind of it, really.”
Almost all women adore when a man takes his grooming up a notch, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Victoria is flattered that her handsome hubby uses her products. “I’d always been aware of how I wanted my hair to look, stuff like that, but I was also in a career where I was always outside,” David explained. “I had to take care of my skin because of that, but the way I looked after it was to steal my wife’s stuff, because I know she has the best.”
David, 43, using his wife’s products — includes some from the designer’s Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder collection — is a score for both him and Victoria. The 44-year-old fashion guru has said that “glowing skin is all you really need,” according to ET. Therefore we’re not surprised that she passed that idea along to David, too.
Victoria has also turned David onto other beauty treatments. “The first time I did a mask was pretty recently, actually,” David admitted. “I tried the Tom Ford clay one, and I really like it. I very rarely have the time to do a mask, but Victoria loves to do it before she’s going to bed, or when she wakes up.” The former soccer star even revealed that “making the time to go for a nice facial is important” because “it makes you feel great.”
Stealing his wife’s beauty items has seemingly inspired David’s newest project — the dad-of-four has officially partnered with L’Oreal to create a new skin care line for gentlemen. “I created House 99 to give people the inspiration as well as the right products to experiment and feel completely at home doing so,” he said in a press release. “House 99 is here to support men, to give them the tools they need to create whatever look they are going for. Welcome to the house.” Maybe Victoria will start stealing her hubby’s favorite products now!
