Courteney Cox Reunites With ‘Friends’ Costars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow for 55th Birthday
We may not be getting a Friends reboot anytime soon, but don’t think that’s going to stop the pals from getting together, as Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow joined up with Courteney Cox for her birthday!
The Cougar Town alum, took to Instagram on Saturday, June 15, to share a photo of her costars from the iconic NBC comedy in celebration of her turning 55. “How lucky am I to celebrate my birthday with these two??? I love you girls. So much ♥️,” the actress captioned the pic of the three smiling.
No surprise here, but fans went crazy for this mini-reunion. “The 3 best friends that anybody could have,” one person said. Another added, “How do they all look so good still?”
The three talented ladies played the roles of Monica, Phoebe and Rachel, respectively, in the sitcom that wrapped up in 2004 after 10 seasons. The cast also included Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
Just recently, Jennifer, 50, once again sparked hopes of a show reboot when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and said, “Listen, I told you this: I would do it. The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I’m sure.” She then added, “Anything could happen!” However, even if the cast can never get back together, the Horrible Bosses costar does have quite the backup plan.
“We’ve decided that we’ll just do, like — and I’ve said this before — we’ll just do, like, a remake of The Golden Girls in, like, 40 years,” Jennifer joked while on The Late Late Show With James Corden. “Just kind of go out on wicker chairs, you know what I mean? What if we’re Rachel, Phoebe and Monica as just ‘golden girls’?”
We would certainly be down for that! For now, we can all enjoy these mini-reunions from time to time.
