Cindy Crawford’s Daughter Kaia, 17, Looks All Grown Up At The British Fashion Awards — See The Pics!

It seems like just yesterday when Cindy Crawford was climbing the ladder to international fame as a supermodel in the 1980s. However, as she hung up her runway shoes, her daughter, Kaia, picked them up and followed in her mom’s footsteps.

In fact, the 17-year-old beauty was just honored with the Model of the Year award at the 2018 British Fashion Awards on Monday, Dec. 10. Take a look at how grown up Kaia looks below!

It’s no surprise that Cindy and Rande Gerber passed down fantastic genes to their kiddos, Kaia and Presley, 19. The proud parents and brother were all in London for the fashion awards show in support of Kaia.

For the red carpet, the Cindy mini-me donned a gorgeous, asymmetrical metallic top. The shirt also featured criss-cross designs along with dangling silver embellishments and cutouts on the chest and stomach. The teen paired the jaw-dropping top with black boot-cut style pants.

As for mama, she wore a black off-the-shoulder, velvet gown, with a thigh-high slit. The dress also featured what appeared to be a flower shaped design on the top.

The men certainly didn’t disappoint with their outfits, either. Rande wore an all-black suit paired with black shoes and a black dress shirt, while Presley sported a brown suit paired with a black shirt and black dress shoes.

Winning Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards is monumental for the teen as this is the most coveted accolade she’s ever received. Even though she’s been nominated for the title before at other shows, she never actually won. In 2017, Kaia was up against prestigious models such as Bella Hadid and Winnie Harlow for the title at New York Fashion Week, as well as a contender at the 2017 British Fashion Awards.

Though this is the most prestigious award she’s ever been honored with, it’s not the only award she’s ever received. In 2016, Kaia was named the Breakthrough Model of the Year award at The Daily Front Row’s 4th Annual Fashion Media Awards during New York Fashion Week.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Cindy gave her daughter some tips and tricks as she makes a name for herself in the fashion world. In 2016, Cindy and Kaia were featured together on Kaia’s first ever Vogue Paris cover. Not long after that, the up-and-coming model became the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.

“I’m so excited and honored that my first beauty campaign is with Marc Jacobs, an icon in the fashion industry,” Kaia told Allure at the time. “I’m obsessed with his beauty products, and like everything else he does, Marc Jacobs Beauty makes you feel feminine and playful.”
