Famed model Christie Brinkley is getting candid about how she's seemingly remained ageless all these years! In a new interview, the 63-year-old addressed those plastic surgery rumors by admitting she's gotten anti-aging procedures done: Xeomin, which helps with frown lines, and Ultherapy, which lifts the skin on the neck and décolletage.
"I wondered if people would think I’m phony and fake," the blonde beauty told People. "But it’s better to be honest and say, ‘Yeah, this is what I do.'" And even though she never wants to "look different," Christie admits she does want to feel good at her age.
"I’m almost 64. At a certain point, you might need a little something extra. When I look in the mirror, I want to feel like I look as good as I feel," she confessed. "And if you can have something done to feel more confident and better about yourself, then you feel like your face matches your spirit — and my spirit is enthusiastic and energetic."
Christie also admitted to getting fillers in a previous interview. “I grew up in Malibu then my real job of modeling took me to beaches all over the world and under the sun. I really am aware of all the sun exposure I’ve had in my life and I’m interested in things that they can do to [reverse the sun’s effects]," she said at the time, adding she’ll get Clear and Brilliant laser treatments and “occasionally I’ll do a little bit of filler."
“As a model, if I don’t look good, I’m not gonna be able to be — I don’t wanna say [an] inspiration cause that sounds [like I'm] so full of myself,” Christie continued. “But I think that models generally speaking are either aspirational or inspirational. The only thing I don’t like about modeling is I don’t want women to feel like they have to look like the airbrushed version and feel like they can’t attain the perfection there. I’m always trying to unmask that and say you guys, hair and makeup, good lighting.”

As I watch the pounding surf from nearby Hurricane José, my heart aches for all the people fearful, and suffering .. from those in the path of Hurricane Maria to the earthquake in Mexico , the Homeless in Houston and Florida. And the fires out West. Sending positive thoughts and a reminder that no amount is too small, we all have to give what we can and together we'll see each other thru this tumultuous time. #hurricanejose #hurricanemaria #puertorico #usvirginidlands #turksandcaicos #parrotcay be safe my friends❤️
Christie was hesitant about opening up about her procedures until her daughters, Alexa Ray Joel, 31, and Sailor Brinkley-Cook convinced her to. "They said, ‘If you think it will be helpful to others, go for it,'" she shared. "There are always going to be the people who build themselves up by pulling you down. But then there are the women who are supporting women. And if there are little things that I can do that are going to make me feel great, make me look good for my job and that would be selfish of me not to share it." You go, Christie!
