It seems like Carrie Underwood‘s pre-party prep for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards was much different compared to last year. The “Love Wins” singer — who recently welcomed her second son, Jacob Bryan Fisher, in January — gave fans a sneak peek into the not-so-glamorous life as a mom-of-two.

Ahead of her performance of “Southbound” at the 2019 ACM Awards, the 35-year-old took to Instagram to share a selfie while flashing a big smile into the camera as she was all dolled-up and ready to hit the stage on Sunday, April 7. Not so obvious in the picture was a breast pump that Carrie was using as she prepared to wow the audience at the 54th annual ACM Awards.

“Getting ready for my performance … also pumping,” she wrote alongside hilarious emojis to lighten the mood, adding the hashtags, “#Multitasking,” “#ACMAwards,” “#Southbound” and “#LetsDoThis.”

The “Before He Cheats” songstress was a hot commodity at the awards show as she not only had a killer performance alongside duo Maddie & Tae, Mickey Guyton and This Is Us star Chrissy Metz, but she also was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year — ultimately losing to Kacey Musgraves.

Prior to the show, the blonde beauty got candid about getting back into shape and feeling comfortable in her post-baby body. “I told you, I can’t breathe,” Carrie revealed to hosts on the red carpet. “I am zipped so tight in this dress, it’s holding things up in places that it doesn’t normally go.”

The American Idol winner — who is also mom to 4-year-old son Isaiah — even opened up about the struggles of getting back into the crazy schedule that her life as a country music artist ensues. Ahead of the prestigious event, Carrie told People that although baby Jacob — who she shares with her husband, Mike Fisher — has been “so good here in Vegas,” but it hasn’t been the easiest trip. “Last night the air was getting to him so we were up for a while, but that’s life with a 2½-month-old,” she confessed. “He’s great. He’s a sweetie.”

Even though the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” crooner admitted that it’s been “harder trying to entertain my 4-year-old and take care of the baby,” life has never been better. “[Isaiah] is such a great big brother and says it’s his baby. ‘Where’s my baby?!’” she jokingly shared of proud big brother Isaiah. Not only is Carrie a superstar on the stage, but she one amazing mama to her boys!
