Actor-turned-singer Bradley Cooper may have had a breeze hitting his notes for A Star Is Born, but, apparently, he’s not as confident in the kitchen. According to a new report, Bradley recently reached out to his friend Jennifer Garner to learn some of her expert cooking tips and tricks. “They’ve spent hours making Italian food, like fresh pasta and sauce, meatballs, and pizza from scratch,” a source told In Touch Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now.

Even though Bradley, 43, learned some basics of cooking while filming Burnt in 2015, “due to his hectic schedule it didn’t take long for the novelty to wear off,” the insider added. So now, his Alias co-star and pal, Jen, 46, has allegedly been able to offer Bradley some friendly advice on how to whip up scrumptious meals.

The 13 Going On 30 actress “has always been passionate about food, so she’s perfect to learn from,” the source revealed. “Cooking comes naturally to her — she could certainly give Martha Stewart a run for her money. So Bradley is in good hands.”

Perhaps this isn’t the first cooking lesson that Bradley has received from his friend. In November, Jen honored Bradley at the American Cinematheque Awards in LA and spoke about his arrival in Hollywood. “I took him home and made him dinner… I’m still making him dinner,” Jen dished.

The key for me is to pick a variety of the above and CHOP it up so that you aren’t battling a dinner plate sized honk of lettuce every other bite.

At the time, she also gushed about the first-time director and his career. “There is something about people who are the same in success and failure that makes us love them,” Jen said. “Tells us, we know the very heart of them. I know the heart and stomach of Bradley Cooper. It turns out you weren’t just handsome all along. You are also a wonder. And you are welcome at my table anytime.”

Since Jen and Bradley remain such good friends today, we’d love to see them on-screen together again in an Alias reboot. Last month, Jennifer revealed some of her thoughts on Alias potentially returning to the small screen. “I’ve heard that there’s an Alias reboot happening, but no one’s talked to me about it,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “I mean it would be totally different. But if they didn’t have me on as a guest, I would be very, very angry.”
