Ten years later, Alec Baldwin is opening up about a dark part of his past.

The A-list actor recently appeared on Good Morning America to talk about his new memoir, Nevertheless, and bravely talked about the infamous voicemail he left his now 21-year-old daughter, Ireland, back in 2007.

When his little girl was just 11-years-old, Alec — who at the time was going through a messy custody battle with his ex-wife and Ireland's mom Kim Basinger — called Ireland a "rude, thoughtless little pig" in a viral leaked voice recording. Today, he admits the incident has put a "permanent break" in their relationship.

"My daughter — that's hurt her in a permanent way," Alec, 59, confessed of the fit of rage. "It's thrown in your face every day. There are people who admonish me, or attack me, and use that as a constant spearhead to do that. It's a scab that never heals because it's been picked at all the time by so many people."

The Boss Baby star seemingly "started over" recently and is now married to yoga instructor Hilaria Baldwin. The couple are parents to three more kids, Carmen, 3, Rafael, 21 months, and Leonardo, 6 months.
