‘Our Gang’ Actress Jean Darling Dies at Age 93

Silent-film actress Jean Darling, who appeared in a number of Our Gang comedy shorts, has died at age 93.

Her son, Roy, told The Hollywood Reporter that she passed away on Friday, Sept. 4, at a nursing facility in Roedermark, Germany after struggling with a short illness.

Jean married Reuben Bowen in 1954, and they had one son, Roy. In addition to her son, the actress is survived by her two grandchildren, Robert and Alec.
