It seems Natalie Morales‘ days on the TODAY Show may unfortunately be limited.

According to a new report, the morning television show cohost, 42, is planning to leave TODAY because of the tense, behind-the-scenes drama she’s experiencing with fellow host Tamron Hall and NBC News President Deborah Turness.

Natalie’s reps have reportedly been looking for other roles for the journalist and sources say she may be leaving the NBC program to appear on a daytime talk show instead.

“There’s a lot of tension. Natalie and Tamron are competitive, and there was a big blowup in October between the two. Deborah has an issue with Natalie and has sided with Tamron. There has been zero communication between Deborah and Natalie for a long period of time. It’s the talk of NBC staff,” a source said in the report.

Natalie allegedly met with the show’s executive producer, Don Nash, last week about the issues, “and she didn’t get the reassurance she had hoped for about her future at ‘Today,’ ” a source said.

Natalie first joined the TODAY cast in 2006 as a national correspondent, but was soon promoted to the third-hour cohost. While she was previously in the running to take over as top female anchor from Ann Curry, the role went to Savannah Guthrie instead.

She is now reportedly being overlooked by NBC yet again, as Deborah is seeking to promote Tamron into a bigger role over Natalie. Tamron was named a cohost on the show in February.

Nash has countered these new allegations, telling Page Six, “This is total nonsense. As the ‘Today’ show continues to gain momentum, it sounds like someone is trying to stir up trouble that doesn’t exist. Natalie Morales is valued by everyone at the news division from the top down, and her future is with the ‘Today’ show and NBC News.”
