The 57-year-old received two People's Choice Awards for Favorite Talk Show Host and Favorite Humanitarian on Wednesday, Jan. 6 — and her acceptance speech brought tears to our eyes!

"It's a little strange to actually get an award for being nice, generous and kind, which is what we're all supposed to do with one another," Ellen said. "That's the point of being a human."

"I don't think you have to have a talk show to be nice to people, to do what I'm doing," she continued. "I just think that kindness is something that we should all have, it's an innate quality that we have and we need more of that out there."
The Ellen DeGeneres Show star ended with a powerful wish. "I want everyone to know that we all really love one another deep down and we need to get back to that," she said before flaunting a shirtless picture of Chris Hemsworth on the big screen.
"Awards are great, but really what makes me happy is making other people happy, and tonight I want to make you happy, so I brought a shirtless photo of Chris Hemsworth to share," she added with a smile.
