Will Smith Hilariously Begs His Kids To Join In On Their Family’s Christmas Celebrations — Watch!
While the Smiths usually go out of town for Christmas, Will Smith just revealed that he and his gang are staying home for the holidays this year. And since they usually don’t decorate their house, the 50-year-old actor made sure to get his kiddos into the Christmas spirit before Santa Claus came to town.
“Christmastime Jada is on Full Blast out here! She bought every Christmas light Costco had and hung ‘em in the living room,” Will wrote of his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, alongside a video he shared to Instagram on Sunday, Dec. 23. By the look of the over-the-top decorations that Will showed, you would think that this was an annual thing! Take a look at the hysterical video below!
While The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star and his lady were clearly in the Christmas spirit, their kids, Jaden, 20, and Willow, 18, weren’t. The video showed Will as he called for his daughter to come enjoy their home’s festive decorations.
“You’re crazy… OK, you need to stop,” the “Whip My Hair” singer said to her dad in the video. Things didn’t go as well with Jaden, either, as the rapper seemed more interested in playing a video game when his dad called for him to “put some Christmas clothes on right now!” Ha!
In a second video, Will went to extreme measures to get his kids to give in to his Christmas antics. “I’m not liking your attitude about Christmas. Y’all gonna get into the Christmas spirit whether you like it or not,” he said as he tried to get his kids to sing along to the words of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
Low and behold, the kids gave in. After pestering them for what probably felt like forever, Jaden and Willow reluctantly cracked and joined in on their parents’ ridiculous (but awesome) Christmas outfits.
Jada, Will, Jaden, and Willow were even joined by the Men in Black star’s 26-year-old son, Trey — who he shares with ex-wife Sheree Zampino — and Jada’s mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones. The blended family-of-six concluded their video by shouting from in front of the tree, “From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!” So cute and so festive!
