When Sinead O’Connor recently debuted her new album cover, we had to do a double-take!

Her famously shaved head was no where to be seen, replaced by an edgy black wig instead. In the photo, the 47-year-old holds tight to a guitar while wearing a skintight leather bodysuit.

Photographer Donal Moloney says Sinead “had a ball doing the shoot” and “loves the shots.”

“She’s very excited about the album,” Donal tells FOX411. “There’s some more amazing shots to come in the near future. I’ve never seen her look so good and I’m very proud of the results.”

The rocker recently revealed why she chose the album’s title, “I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss.”

“Originally I had a different title, “The Vishnu Room,” but a few months back when I saw the phrase ‘I’m not bossy, I’m the boss’…I wished I could re-name the album, since indeed it can be tricky being a female boss,” Sinead said in a note on her website.

The Irish singer’s 10th album drops on August 12. Scroll down to compare her latest cover to a few older ones!
