She and her older sister Venus Williams dominate the tennis world when they play as a team, but Serena Williams may have found herself a new doubles partner: her 10-month-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. "We’re not spending a day apart until she’s 18," joked the smitten first-time mom.

It was love at first sight for Serena, 36, and Alexis, but the star's foray into parenting has been sometimes humbling for an athlete who’s considered the greatest of all time in her sport. "No one talks about the low moments — the pressure you feel, the incredible letdown every time you hear the baby cry," Serena, who’s been open about her struggles with postpartum depression, has said.

She’s bravely faced her low points like a champ, though, and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 35, even put up four billboards near Palm Springs, CA in February dubbing her the "Greatest Momma of All Time" to support her in her first tournament after giving birth. "I’m so proud of [her]," he beamed.

At press time, Serena had her sights set on nabbing her 24th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon. "I absolutely want more [Slams]," she insisted, though she made it clear that daughter Alexis is her top priority. "It’s definitely family before tennis for me. I haven’t gone a day without seeing her."

That’s no small feat, especially given that Serena’s busy schedule includes overseeing a new athleisure clothing line she launched in May and tending to several philanthropic endeavors (focused on education and helping victims of violence and trauma) that are close to her heart.

Still, her indomitable drive has always served Serena well. "Even if my goals are outrageous, totally insane, I’d rather reach for the sky," she said, hoping to be an inspiration to her little one. "I’m so glad I had a daughter [and] I want to teach her that there are no limits."
