We’ve been waiting for this moment for eight years! For the first time since 2010, the beloved cast of Scrubs all reunited — and it was so good to see them all together again. While best friends Zach Braff and Donald Faison (they played the lead roles, J.D. and Turk, on the show), have reunited in the past, we haven’t seen this entire crew together since the finale episode aired.

On Saturday, Nov. 17, the main stars of the hit series — Scrubs ran from 2001 until 2010 — got together at the 2018 Vulture Festival in LA. In attendance was Zach, Donald, John C. McGinley (Dr. Perry Cox), Ken Jenkins (Dr. Bob Kelso), Sarah Chalke (Elliott), Neil Flynn (Janitor), Christa Miller (Jordan), and Judy Reyes (Carla). The show’s creator, Bill Lawrence, was also there

While the plethora of cast photos was a treat, fans couldn’t help but ask: is a Scrubs reboot in the works now? “I would do anything to get to work with not only this group [but the entire crew…. it was the best time in my life,” Bill said during a panel discussion, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Sometimes reboots — not all the time — feel like a money grab.”

He added, “If we ever do it, we’ll do it as a short little movie or something else. I think the problem from me is I would just want to see where everyone is. I would want to see where their marriages are [as opposed to a huge event].”

We’ll take that! And apparently so will Zach. While appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden in May, he echoed Bill’s suggestion after admitting “everybody wants” a reboot of the medical comedy. “Maybe if it was a TV movie, or something, in some incarnation, I’d be interested,” he said at the time. “I’m still best friends with Donald Faison.”

Here’s hoping Scrubs will come back to our small screens soon! We’ll be ready with our popcorn when it does…
