Is it Jan. 6 yet? It was revealed on Wednesday, Dec. 5 that two very special people will be hosting the 2019 Golden Globes: Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg. To be honest, we can’t wait to see this comedic duo take the stage!

“We’re excited to welcome Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg as co-hosts of Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s President Meher Tatna said in a statement. “Both Golden Globe Award recipients have continually showcased their talents in film and television, and we can’t wait to see what their undeniable chemistry will bring to the Golden Globes stage.”

Sandra took to Twitter to echo the excitement. “Woke up to announcement co-hosting Golden Globes. #Excited. #Terrified. Hey @lonelyisland Andy Samberg you ready?” she wrote on the social platform. “Hey @thelonelyisland was told to post you headshot can’t wait to co-host #GoldenGlobes Jan 6th @nbc @goldenglobes,” the former Grey’s Anatomy star captioned a funny drawing of Andy. Andy retweeted a plethora of articles sharing the news with a smiling emoji as the caption.

Sandra, 47, and Andy, 40, appeared at the 2018 Emmys together in September where they mocked the 2017 Oscars’ La La LandMoonlight mix up. They then presented the award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

The two have both won Golden Globes in the past. Andy won the Best Actor award in 2014 for Brooklyn Nine-Nine and back in 2006, Sandra won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in Grey’s Anatomy.
