The newborn baby will be the fifth in line to succession to the Swedish throne. Carl Philip’s older sister, Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, 38—who is pregnant with her second child—is currently the heir apparent and will ascend to the throne when her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf, 69, either passes away or abdicates his title.
