He’s growing up so fast! Prince Louis’ christening is today, Monday, July 9, so many dedicated royal fans are curious who the two-month-old’s godparents are. And to the surprise of many, his aunt and uncle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, did not receive the special titles.

Kensington Palace announced earlier that some of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s friends and family have made the list. That said, Louis’ godparents will be Mr. Nicholas van Cutsem, Mr. Guy Pelly, Mr. Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, The Lady Laura Meade, Mrs. Robert Carter, and Miss Lucy Middleton. It is common in the royal family to have more than the traditional two godparents. For example, Louis’ brother, Prince George, 4, has seven godparents and his sister, Princess Charlotte, 3, has five godparents.

The ceremony will take place later this afternoon in The Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace in London and Kensington Palace shared a guest list for the special event. In addition to William and Kate (we also assume George and Charlotte will be in attendance, though it was not confirmed) and the godparents and their spouses, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in attendance even though they’re not the godparents. We can also expect to see Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles as well as Kate’s parents Michael and Carol Middleton, pregnant Pippa Middleton (here’s hoping for a baby bump pic!) and her husband, James Matthews, and Kate’s brother, James Middleton.

However, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are noticeably missing from the guest list. A source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that the couple won’t be in attendance and the decision was “mutually agreed upon some time ago.” And no, it has nothing to do with their recent poor health — the christening will just be a small service.

Who knows, maybe we’ll get a last minute invite to taste a piece of Louis special christening cake (it’s a tier of William and Kate’s wedding cake) at the post-ceremony get-together at Clarence House today.
