Hot mama! Peta Murgatroyd was sizzling like the summer heat while spotted out and about over the weekend with her 2-year-old son, Shai Chmerkovskiy. The Dancing With the Stars alum and her adorable mini-me enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Los Angeles Farmer’s Market on Sunday, July 21.

The 33-year-old beauty and Shai were as thick as thieves as they strolled around the retail marketplace. Peta — who shares her first and only child with husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy — recently opened up about becoming the mom of their little bundle of joy.

“The amount of love that you have for your child, it just amazes me every day,” the blonde bombshell exclusively told Closer Weekly in June. “I just wake up and if I’ve had a bad day, if anything has gone wrong, he and Maks are the only people that could really just get me out of my slump. They’re just amazing.”

Peta looked as gorgeous as always in a white, sleeved romper and flip flops. The proud mama also tied her hair back in a bun, carried their belongings in a backpack and shielded her eyes from the sun behind a pair of designer sunglasses. So chic!

Shai looked super adorable as he sported a gray tank top, gray shorts and matching sneakers. The youngster also wore a red and white hat featuring a rainbow design to keep his long blonde locks from flying in his face. So cute!

The Faith, Hope and Love actress and Shai had such a fun time together, despite the fact that dad Maks was visibly absent. During their outing, the loving pair enjoyed some brief shopping, strolled around the marketplace hand in hand and even rode a ride together!

Considering Peta and Maks are both professional dancers, Shai has some famous footsteps to fill once he’s older! “He loves music,” the New Zealand native told Us Weekly in February. “He’s obsessed with Pitbull and Dua Lipa, so we have constant dance parties throughout the day with him.”

Peta also dished that her and Maks would “be upset” if their son “was uncoordinated” when it came to dancing.

Although Peta and Maks couldn’t be happier as the parents of Shai, the mother of one recently revealed that the duo already plan on expanding their brood. “We kind of have to plan things around work, but I don’t want to wait too long,” Peta told Life & Style in March. “Maybe three to six months. Maks needs a little girl.”

It looks like we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for a pregnancy announcement!
