Paula Deen is writing a another cookbook — but this one much different than all the rest!

The celebrity chef, 68, has reportedly signed a distribution deal to release a new healthy cookbook featuring 200 light recipes and low-fat updates to 50 of her classic dishes.

The book, titled ‘Paula Deen Cuts The Fat,’ will be the fifteenth cookbook — her first since 2011’s ‘Paula Deen’s Southern Cooking Bible’ — Paula has published to date.

“I created 200 amazing light recipes,” she said in a new interview. “Plus, I cut the calories from 50 of my favorite classic dishes. The best part is that the same delicious southern taste remains.”

The upcoming book will include Southern recipes such as nutty sweet potato balls, crabby shrimp dip, Savannah gumbo, southwest chicken enchiladas and flourless chocolate fudge cake, the mom-of-two confirmed.

The inspiration for Paula’s new focus on low-fat dishes is likely due to her recent 40-pound weight loss following a her diagnosis with Type 2 diabetes in 2013.

Under the alleged multi-book deal with publishing company Hachette Book Group, the star will additionally reissue some of her previous cookbooks in print and electronic form, according to the ‘Los Angeles Times.’

‘Paula Deen Cuts The Fat’ is set to hit bookstores on September 8, 2015.
