Despite winning two Academy Awards, two Emmys and a Golden Globe Award, actress Dianne Wiest is now facing financial strife and revealed she can no longer pay her rent.

“I have to move out of my apartment soon,” Dianne, 66, admitted in a new interview.

The star’s illustrious career first began on Broadway in the early 1970s and quickly transitioned to film roles in Woody Allen movies. She won Oscars for her work with Woody in ‘Hannah and Her Sisters’ in 1987 and ‘Bullets over Broadway’ in 1995.

But Dianne said starring in these films caused showbiz execs to typecast her as “a nice mom and that’s it,” a distinction that has left her without her pick of acting gigs.

“I think that if it’s meant to happen, it will happen,” she told ‘The New York Times’ of being offered new parts. “Which I guess is a real sign of stupidity.”
