Congratulations are in order for Natalie Portman!

The stunning actress gave birth to a baby girl named Amalia on Wednesday, Feb. 22, E! News reported on Friday, March 3. This is the second child for the Oscar winner and her husband of four years, Benjamin Millepied.

The couple — who met while working on Black Swan — are also parents to a five-year-old son, Aleph.

Now it makes sense why Natalie didn’t attend the Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 26! “Due to my pregnancy, I am unable to attend the Independent Spirit Awards and the Academy Awards,” she revealed prior to the award shows, even though she already had her bundle of joy at the time. “I feel so lucky to be honored among my fellow nominees and wish them the most beautiful of weekends.” The 35-year-old was nominated for her role in Jackie.

The private actress kept her pregnancy very hush-hush until she stepped out with a tiny baby bump in September 2016. While she falunted her growing belly a plethora of times, she failed to document pregnant life on any social media platforms.

And while Natalie may be busy caring for a newborn in the coming weeks, it looks like she’s going to have to get some money together for Ellen DeGeneres!

During the star’s recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show, the TV host said she was sure Natalie’s baby would be a girl! “I did three tests on you,” Ellen said regarding the gender. “Each one came back that it was a girl.”

“I really don’t know the gender,” Natalie insisted, “even though we’re referring to it [as a girl].”

Natalie previously appeared on the talk show five years ago when she was pregnant with her first child. At that time, Ellen also tried to guess the gender of her baby — and ended up being incorrect!

“Want to make a bet?” Ellen asked. Natalie, agreeing, said, “Well, it seems like it would be in my favor since last time you were so, so wrong.” Awkward!
