The now-55-year-old actor has starred in a plethora of films and shows since the start of his career including Back to the Future, Family Ties, Boston Legal, and more!

In 1991, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, a condition he often speaks candidly about. Just last month, the star gave fans a surprising health update — that his disease makes him laugh all the time!

“The truth is that on most days, there comes a point where I literally can’t stop laughing at my own symptoms,” he shared in a recent interview.

He even told a comical story about his experience bringing coffee to his wife, Tracy Pollan. “Just the other morning I come into the kitchen,” Michael began. “I pour a cup — a little trouble there. Then I put both hands around the cup. She’s watching. ‘Can I get that for you, dear?’ ‘Nah, I got it!’ Then I begin this trek across the kitchen. It starts off bad. Only gets worse. Hot java’s sloshing onto my hands, onto the floor.” We’re glad Michael finds the good in this unfortunate circumstance!
