Did he make the cut? Reports have already suggested that Meghan Markle didn’t speak to her dad, Thomas Markle, on the day of the royal wedding, but surely she mentioned him in her reception speech, right? As it turns out, sources are suggesting she didn’t. Ouch!

According to Us Weekly, the newly coined Duchess of Sussex delivered an incredibly moving speech on May 19 at Frogmore House in England. That said, her father wasn’t a talking point — whether or not it was out of malice over his absence, remains to be seen. Thomas was unable to attend the wedding due to last-minute health complications.

Even if Meghan didn’t mention her father, Thomas made it clear that he was championing his little girl on her special day and watching along with the rest of the world. "My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy," he told TMZ. "I wish I was there and I wish them all my love and happiness," he gushed.

Meghan did however thank her mother, Doria Ragland. “She said, ‘You have always been there for me through everything,’” an insider paraphrased. And there for her she was! Doria was by her side every step of the way — she even stayed with Meghan at the Cliveden House Hotel the night before her nuptials.

In addition to her mom, a source cited that the 36-year-old newlywed also praised Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla for being amazing hosts and welcoming her and her mother into the family. But what about her darling Prince?

The source added that the former Suits actress said she knew Harry was “the one” as soon as they met. Continuing that, "she loves him with all of her heart and can’t wait to start their next chapter together.” How sweet!
