King of Queens fans, rejoice! Kevin James and Leah Remini have just planned the reunion of the century.
Ten years after the iconic sitcom went off the air — in which the two co-starred as Doug and Carrie Hefferman from 1998 until 2007 — it has been announced that Leah has officially joined the cast of Kevin's new sitcom, Kevin Can Wait.

After Variety broke the news on Friday, June 2, Leah took to Instagram to express how appreciative she is for her new role. "Dreams do come true #Blessed #Grateful," the 46-year-old actress wrote on the social media platform.
Although Leah has guest-starred in episodes of the show's first season, she will now be a regular on Season 2. The series follows Kevin, a retired cop who realizes retired life isn't as fun as he imagined it'd be. Leah plays his former partner and an undercover cop, Vanessa Cellucci.
Since King of Queens ended, Leah has made it her mission to expose the church of Scientology with her show Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, although she's proved she and Kevin have stayed close throughout the years with their social media reunions.
We can't wait to see one of our favorite sitcom couples back on the small screen together after all this time!
