After years of yo-yo dieting, Kirstie Alley is finally ready to keep the weight off for good!
“I’m sick of it and I know that other people are sick of it, too,” the 64-year-old actress exclusively told 'Closer Weekly' of her public weight loss struggle.
"I like to catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and say, 'Wow, you still look cool,' the mom-of-two told the magazine. "That wasn't happening. I really didn't look cool or sexy or anything — I thought I just looked fat," she said.

Since April 2014, Kirstie had shed 50 pounds by following a low-calorie Jenny Craig diet and staying active by taking daily bicycle rides, she explained. Through the strict regimen, she's dropped from a size 12-14 to a size 6-8!
“[Before], I would think, I’m going to lose this weight and then I can eat anything I want,” she confessed to 'Closer.' “I was setting myself up to fail.”
Kirstie showed off her recent weight loss on 'The View.'
Kirstie said she now has more confidence than ever thanks to her commitment to not only losing the excess pounds, but committing to maintaining her diet and exercise routine in the future.
"I'm much more alive today. I'm more outgoing and can be more daring! I've been approaching people and telling them I want to work with them. I'm active, I'm in life again, I'm in motion!" she told the publication.
