We could never forget Kirstie Alley‘s role on Cheers!
The iconic actress portrayed Rebecca Howe on the hit sitcom from 1982 until 1993 — and we’ve missed her and the rest of the cast so much since the show went off the air!
Since the series ended 24 years ago, Kirstie, now 66, has been focused on getting in shape. Just last year, the actress shocked fans when she showed off her 50-pound weight loss in public!

In a previous exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Kirstie revealed this slim-down is for good this time. “I’m sick of it and I know that other people are sick of it, too,” Kirstie said of her public weight loss struggle.

“I like to catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and say, ‘Wow, you still look cool,’ the mom-of-two revealed. “That wasn’t happening. I really didn’t look cool or sexy or anything — I thought I just looked fat.”
“[Before], I would think, I’m going to lose this weight and then I can eat anything I want,” she confessed to Closer. “I was setting myself up to fail.”

Now, Kirstie is feeling better than ever! “I’m much more alive today. I’m more outgoing and can be more daring! I’ve been approaching people and telling them I want to work with them. I’m active, I’m in life again, I’m in motion!” Perhaps a Cheers reboot is next for the star?
