Katie Couric Talks Megyn Kelly and Tamron Hall ‘Today’ Drama — “It’ll All Work Out!”

It seems Katie Couric is above taking sides on Tamron Hall and Megyn Kelly‘s rumored [Today]( feud!

During an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, April 17, the 60-year-old TV star — and Today alumna — spoke candidly about the recent behind-the-scenes drama between Tamron, 46, and Megyn, also 46.

“I haven’t talked to Tamron, I don’t know Tamron well. I do know Megyn a bit,” Katie began.

“Unfortunately I think sometimes people turn morning shows into soap operas that they’re not. Because they feel so intimately connected to the people on the show, they feel like they’re members of their family — they get very territorial and proprietary about it. And they read things into relationships,” she continued.

“I think it’ll all work out,” Katie added. “And I think the show is great. I wish Tamron well. But I’m just not getting involved in the drama of it.”

In January, news first broke that Megyn was leaving Fox News to instead join the Today team. Following the announcement of Megyn’s addition to the morning talk show, Tamron abruptly exited the program — leading many fans to speculate there may be bad blood between the two journalists.

“The last 10 years have been beyond anything I could have imagined, and I’m grateful,” Tamron said in a message released by the network after her departure. “I’m also very excited about the next chapter. To all my great colleagues, I will miss you and I will be rooting for you.”

NBC has not yet officially announced Megyn’s new role on Today but she is expected to join the popular program this fall.
