Kathy Griffin Confirms ‘Fashion Police’ Offer, Says it Might Not Be the ‘Right Thing’
It’s been nearly two months since Joan Rivers unexpectedly passed away in early September, and yet the announcement of who may take the comedienne’s spot on E!’s Fashion Police is still uncertain.
But Joan’s friend Kathy Griffin revealed to Closer that she has been offered the hosting gig, though it may not be the “right thing” for her at this time in her career.

“They did make me an offer but I don’t know if it’s the right thing or the right situation,” she said. “But I do think it is going to continue in some way. In the tradition of my pal Joan Rivers.”
“What I loved is that Joan brought that fearlessness, and it was like what is she going to say. Plus she had real fashion sense and loved designers and she was on the red carpet a lot. We have to have fun with it,” she said at last night’s Equality Now’s Make Equality Reality event in Beverly Hills.

When asked who else might be a good replacement for Joan on ‘Fashion Police,’ Kathy said, “Oh gosh I don’t know.”
It’s certainly going to be hard for anyone to replace the outspoken personality.
