You go, girl! On Monday, April 8, Jenna Bush Hager made her debut as a full-time cohost on the fourth hour of Today and, during the program, she revealed the goodbye gift that Kathie Lee Gifford gave her before leaving the show.

“I can’t believe I forgot. What is wrong with me?” Jenna, 37, said before showing off her present. “[Kathie Lee] left me a bracelet that says, ‘Your joy is non-negotiable.’” How sweet!

To make Jenna feel more at home, her new cohost, Hoda Kotb, presented her with an engraved wine glass on the show. She told their viewers how excited she was to cohost Today with the journalist.

“I got in bed and I was calm. [My husband] Henry [Hager] and I went out for a date night. I got on Instagram right before bed and I saw our new Instagram page,” she recalled. “At first, I was like, ‘My head looks huge!’ But then I got over that … And I just screamed and I woke him up … Then I got really hyper. And Henry said he was about to tranquilize me, and then I feel asleep.”

The surprises didn’t end there, though! Jenna saw a sweet video from her family who congratulated her on her new job. “Hey, Jenna, your old dad here on film to tell you how much I love you and how proud I am of you,” her father and former U.S. president, George W. Bush, said. “I know you’ll do a fabulous job.”

“Jenna, your mother and your mother-in-law are calling to say we’re so proud of you!” Jenna’s mom, former first lady Laura Bush, added later in the clip.

Later, Jenna’s husband walked onstage with their daughters — Margaret, 5, and Poppy, 3 — to give the new cohost a bunch of roses. “I’m a wreck!” Jenna cried.

We are too, girl!
