Oh no! Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are reportedly ready to say goodbye to Hollywood after welcoming their three-year-old son, Silas Timberlake. According to OK! magazine, the 37-year-old singer and 36-year-old actress have grown tired of constantly living in the spotlight and want to give Silas a “normal” upbringing, perhaps in Tennessee.
“There are whispers that Justin recently purchased a $2.2 million farmhouse about 15 minutes from Leiper’s Fork,” a resident in the area told the magazine. “It’s been kept very quiet, and nobody knows when they’re planning planning to move in, but Justin and Jessica have been seen nearby and workers are currently clearing out the property. The home needs a lot of work, but it’s a great purchase and a wonderful place to live.”
Local Tennessee business owner of Props Antiques, Cindy Griffin, was excited to hear that Justin and Jessica might possibly move to Tennessee, especially since The Sinner actress is a fan of her store. “[Jessica] came in and bought some honey for her mom. She was very sweet,” Cindy recalled to OK!. “I can understand why they want to live here. It’s a quiet town, and everybody knows each other. No one bothers anyone.”
Since Justin and Jessica were both former child stars and grew up in Hollywood, they’re allegedly more than ready to step away from the limelight. “I did not have a normal childhood,” Justin previously explained to The Hollywood Reporter about joining NSYNC when he was only 15 years old.
He added, “You go through your life with your own traumas and think, ‘It’s not that bad, I have a lot to be thankful for.’ But then you have a child of your own, and suddenly it opens all the floodgates, and you’re like, ‘That childhood trauma really did f–k me up!'”
