Maybe Benjamin Travolta won’t be following in his parents’ acting footsteps after all.

“Tonight, later, maybe, he could come on and say ‘Hi’ to you if it’s okay… If you allow him to,” the ‘Grease’ star, 61, asked host David Letterman, to which he responded “Bring him out now! Where’s the kid? Bring the kid out!”

The cameras then panned to John’s wife, Kelly Preston, 52, holding Ben as they walked through the show’s backstage area. But as soon as the actress appeared on set, her son ran offstage!
