Joe Scarborough Dishes on His Wedding Plans With Fiancée Mika Brzezinski!
It’s only been three months since Joe Scarborough popped the question to his Morning Joe co-star Mika Brzezinski, but the two are already busy wedding planning! During a new interview with Closer Weekly, Joe exclusively opened up about their upcoming big day — and revealed which of his TV star friends he’d love to be their flower girl!

“We’re going to work on [keeping it] as small as possible,” the 54-year-old recently told Closer at the Cutting Room in NYC. Joe also joked fellow MSNBC star Willie Geist is going to serve as flower girl at his and Mika’s nuptials. Too funny!
Joe previously asked Mika, 50, to marry him in early May. Shockingly, the news came as a total surprise to the couple’s loyal Morning Joe fan-base as the two never confirmed they were even dating. In fact, when Mika was asked by GQ earlier this year if the two were an item, she responded, “I really don’t want to talk about my personal life.”
Despite Mika playing it cool, Joe recently alluded to the pair’s romance during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “We have a crackling on-air chemistry, and a crackling off-air chemistry, too. I think that pretty much says it, doesn’t it?” he said in April.
Though neither Joe nor Mika have revealed any more of their wedding plans thus far, we can expect Joe’s four children from his two past marriages will be in attendance. He has two sons, Joey and Andrew, from his first marriage to Melanie Hinton. He later welcomed daughter Kate and son Jack with his second wife, Susan Waren.
Mika also has two daughters, Claire and Emilie, from her first marriage to TV news reporter James Patrick Hoffer. Joe split from second wife Susan in 2013 and Mika similarly divorced James in 2016. It is thought that Joe and Mika’s romantic relationship developed shortly after her separation. We can’t wait for the co-hosts to tie the knot!
