It’s been two years since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot in a super private wedding ceremony — and we finally have a few more details about the genetically blessed couple’s special day. Jen, 48, opened up about her “I dos” during an October 2017 cover story interview for Harper’s Bazaar, conducted by Justin’s close pal Amy Sedaris.

During their chat, Amy, 56, couldn’t help but bring up her favorite memories of Jen and Justin’s nuptials, for which she was present. “Everything about that wedding was perfect. Everyone was dressed like a bunch of woodland creatures, and your dress looked so beautiful and breezy,” the comedian said of Jen’s wedding gown, which we are still dying to see a photo of.

She continued, “Justin asked me to be his best man two days before, and I was really scared. Jimmy Kimmel [who officiated at the nuptials] said, ‘Amy, you have one job: Just hand me the rings separately.’ Of course, I handed both to him.”

Amy’s anecdote prompted Jennifer to reveal that she had recently put together a final edit of their wedding day video to celebrate her and Justin’s second anniversary last month. “It’s funny,” the former Friends star told Amy. “I just gave Justin our edited video of the wedding for our anniversary, and it was fun to revisit it.”

Back in March, Justin, 46, told Entertainment Tonight that he and Jen knew from the get-go that they wanted to exchange vows in an intimate setting. “It’s so much more special when it’s just your closest friends and family and it’s lovely,” he explained. “[Jen and I] wanted it to be a peaceful environment, you don’t want it to be hectic.”

As previously reported, the duo got hitched in a hush-hush ceremony at their LA home on August 5, 2015. In an effort to keep the event under wraps, famous guests — including John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Lisa Kudrow, Howard Stern, Sia, Chelsea Handler, Lake Bell, Ellen DeGeneres, and Terry Richardson — were told that they were attending a celebration for the Leftovers actor’s 44th birthday.

“I wouldn’t say it was fun to plan,” Justin told the New York Daily News one month after he and Jen became Mr. and Mrs. “Part of the fun of planning a wedding is telling people, and we had to keep it under wraps.”
