Jennifer Aniston may have been left out of last week’s Oscar nominations, but that isn’t stopping the star from finding a bright side to the situation!

During her Monday appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ the ‘Friends’ alum told the host. “Yeah, I’m the No. 1 snubbed. That’s the silver lining, right?”

Despite her omission from the Academy’s recognitions, the 45-year-old star’s performance as a woman battling chronic pain in the drama ‘Cake’ did receive Best Actress Golden Globe and SAG Award noms.

“I gotta say, I am shocked you were not nominated for an Oscar,” Ellen, 56, told Jen on the Jan. 19 show. “But it actually has to feel good — there are so many people talking about how you didn’t get nominated.”

Jennifer added she’s just happy ‘Cake’ is garnering so much attention from both critics and fans.

“It hasn’t even come out. That’s the crazy thing. We’re so shocked and amazed that we have had this much love for a movie that hasn’t even been released yet,” she told Ellen.

‘Cake’ hits theaters on Jan. 23.
